County Line Strategies
Terms of Service
Effective September 10, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of countylinestrategies.com (the "Site") and the text messaging program operated by County Line Strategies ("County Line Strategies," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the messaging program.
1. Our Services
County Line Strategies provides campaign services, including text outreach, website design, digital strategy, and campaign management. Engagements for those services are governed by a separate written agreement with each client. Nothing on the Site is an offer to represent any candidate or committee, and nothing here creates a client relationship.
2. Text Messaging Terms (SMS/MMS)
Program name: County Line Strategies Text Alerts
Program description: Text messages from County Line Strategies may include replies to your inquiries, meeting and appointment reminders, campaign and service updates, and occasional informational or promotional messages about our services.
Consent
You opt in by providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our contact form, by texting a keyword to one of our numbers, or by otherwise giving us express permission. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the account holder or have the account holder's permission to use the number provided.
Message frequency and cost
- Message frequency varies. Typically up to 4 messages per month, with more during the weeks before an election.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent to that number unless you opt in again. You may also ask us to remove your number: use our contact form and we will process the request promptly.
Help and support
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or use our contact form.
Carriers
Supported carriers include major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on factors outside our control, including carrier network conditions and your device.
Number changes
If you change or deactivate your mobile number, you agree to notify us so we can update our records. You are responsible for messages sent to a number you have provided until we receive notice.
Messages sent for our clients
We send text messages on behalf of candidates, committees, and organizations. Those messages are sent in the client's name, carry the client's required disclosures, and are governed by the client's own consent records and opt-out lists. STOP and HELP work on those messages exactly as described above. Political messaging is subject to federal and state law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and we require every client to certify that recipients have consented where consent is required.
Privacy
Mobile information collected through the messaging program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. It is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site or messaging program for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Provide a mobile number that you are not authorized to use.
- Send abusive, harassing, or unlawful content in reply to our messages.
- Attempt to interfere with the Site's security, availability, or the systems of our service providers.
- Scrape, copy, or reuse Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
4. Intellectual Property
The Site, its design, text, graphics, logos, and the County Line Strategies name and mark are owned by County Line Strategies or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print Site content for personal, non-commercial use only.
5. Disclaimers
The Site and messaging program are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site or messages will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. Information on the Site is for general purposes and is not legal, financial, or election-law advice.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, County Line Strategies and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or messaging program. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless County Line Strategies from any claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site or messaging program.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site or the messaging program after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
